Amid the speculation surrounding his future with Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi has no intention of leaving the club over the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report from RMC Sport.
Messi currently has one more season remaining on his contract with PSG, and the Argentine aims to stay put at the club as he “still dreams of winning a European title” with the Ligue 1 powerhouse.
More so, Messi sees it is not “surprising that the fans are angry.” The Argentine forward and Neymar were recently booed during PSG’s Ligue 1 home fixture against Bordeaux on the heels of the side’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 elimination to Real Madrid.
Messi joined PSG with the belief that the club has what it takes to win the Champions League, and this has not changed for the forward after the recent early exit in this season’s competition.
For now, a Ligue 1 away fixture against AS Monaco awaits Messi and PSG up next.
