Report: Leonardo Won’t Continue at PSG; Tottenham’s Fabio Paratici a Top Candidate

Some people will lose their jobs following Paris Saint-Germain’s latest humiliating loss in the UEFA Champions League. One of those that some supporters want to see gone is sporting director Leonardo.

The Brazilian club chief hasn’t done much to get the capital club to lifting Europe’s top trophy. As a result, AS reports that it is most likely that Leonardo will not continue to be the club’s sporting director at the end of this season.

According to the Spanish media outlet, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi is not happy with the performance of several of his signings, and the vast investments last summer did not serve to break the club’s jinx with the Champions League.

When it comes to possible replacements, AS adds that Tottenham Hotspur’s Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici is one of the first names on his list. The Italian is a profile that the owner of the Parisians likes a lot, who has already had contacts with him in recent months.

However, the former Juventus club chief did join the Premier League club last off-season and is in the beginning stages of a project alongside Antonio Conte, so making him leave so quickly would not be easy.
