Report: Bayern Munich Showing an Early Interest in Signing PSG Prospect Bitshiabu

Paris Saint-Germain could end up seeing a few prospects leave the club at the end of the season, especially as talents such as Xavi Simons will become a free agent in the coming months. PSG could also see one promising defender part ways in the upcoming summer transfer window.

As noted by the German-based outlet Sport Bild, Bayern Munich is showing an interest in signing PSG center-back prospect El Chadaille Bitshiabu.

Overall, the reigning Bundesliga champions view Bitshiabu as a “project for the future.”

As it stands, Bitshiabu has two more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with PSG. He has been featuring in the UEFA Youth League this season.

More so, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino called up Bitshiabu for the side’s Coupe de France knockout stage fixtures against both Feignies and Vannes earlier in the campaign, where the French prospect featured as a second half substitute in both contests.

It remains to be seen whether more playing time minutes may be on the horizon for Bitshiabu later this season.
