Pablo Sarabia is currently spending the season at Portuguese side Sporting CP on a season-long loan stint. He is set to return to his parent club, Paris Saint-Germain, at the end of the campaign.
Now, La Liga side Villarreal is showing an early transfer interest in Sarabia, according to the Spanish-based outlet Todofichajes. Villarreal reportedly expressed an interest in signing him in the last summer transfer window before he went on to join Sporting CP.
Overall, Sarabia is open to a return to La Liga. The Spanish international featured for the likes of Getafe and Sevilla in the last decade before he opted to join PSG on a permanent transfer deal.
The report further adds that the reigning UEFA Europa League winners would be able to sign Sarabia for a €25 million transfer fee.
Sarabia has scored 15 goals in all competitions for both PSG and Sporting CP this season. He featured for Sporting CP in its UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Manchester City.
The Spanish international has two more seasons remaining on his current contract deal.
