Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler has been a regular in the summer transfer rumor mill for years now. With the summer window looming ahead, he is garnering interest from Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet Todofichajes.
Sevilla is aiming to bolster its attack over the upcoming transfer window, and club sporting director Monchi views the German international as an option to address this matter.
The La Liga side would be open to signing the veteran German midfielder to a three-year deal in the salary range of €3.5 million per year.
On the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen has been “pursuing” Draxler for months.
Transfer interest from both Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen is far from new for Draxler. Over last year’s winter transfer window, he was linked with the Spanish side for a permanent transfer deal. Bayer Leverkusen was in the rumor mill for the midfielder in the 2020 summer transfer window, although club sporting director Rudi Voller eventually shut down talk over a possible move for him.
Draxler has two more seasons remaining on his current contract with the Ligue 1 powerhouse.
