Paris Saint-Germain has a 15 point lead on second place Olympique de Marseille. However, the gap between the capital and the rest of Ligue 1 could see the French giants be close to clinching the league trophy.

Culture PSG did the math and reports that if PSG maintains that 15 point gap heading into mid-April, Les Parisiens could clinch their 10th Ligue 1 title over their eternal rivals when they meet on April 17th.

Furthermore, the possibility of clinching the league would see the French giants move past Marseille on Ligue 1 titles. Both are tied for second with nine, and PSG could move into a tie for first with 10, which would match AS Saint-Étienne.

Nonetheless, before that coronation can occur, PSG must not lose to OGC Nice when they travel to the Allianz Riviera this Saturday. Nice has had the capital club’s number as they had a 0-0 drawback in December and then eliminated PSG in the Coupe de France.

Should PSG clinch its tenth Ligue 1 title of OM would be a nice feather in their cap to brag over their rival.
