Brazilian full-back Marcelo is now the latest Real Madrid player to respond to the rumors linking Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe to the La Liga side. However, Marcelo did not go all out to declare that Mbappe will take his talents to Real Madrid over the upcoming summer transfer window.
In speaking to the Spanish-based program El Hormiguero, the veteran Brazilian international kept it short and simple with his take on the possibility of Mbappe soon joining Los Blancos.
“I don’t see him at Madrid because I don’t know the future,” Marcelo said.
Overall, Mbappe has been heavily linked with Real Madrid since the last summer transfer window, when Los Blancos club officials made a late push to sign the French international. Still, PSG has remained stern in its ambition to keep Mbappe at the club past the upcoming summer transfer window, where he is currently slated to have the opportunity to go on and leave the Ligue 1 powerhouse as a free agent.
