Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi is a global icon, so the Argentine ventures into various businesses outside of football, such as his clothing line. Now, one of the latest industries he’s jumping into comes on the food side.
Hard Rock Cafe has announced the latest hamburger on its menu for customers, the Messi Burger. It’s the newest creation in its “LIVE GREATNESS” movement, in which Messi himself is a partner.
The partnership began in 2021 when Messi joined forces with the brand for an initiative created on fan inspiration to reveal a new merchandise collection, including some of Messi’s iconic symbols such as the number 10, the lion, and his logo.
“It is an honor to take our partnership with world-renowned soccer star, Lionel Messi, and the LIVE GREATNESS campaign to the next level with his very own take on Hard Rock Cafe’s Legendary Steak Burger,” Jon Lucas, COO of Hard Rock International, said.
“We are excited to welcome Hard Rock and Messi fans to our turf to try the burger inspired by Messi’s very own favorites for a unique and unforgettable experience.”
As of March 1st, this signature burger, crafted by the PSG star himself, is now available for fans to order at any Hard Rock Cafe locations worldwide.
The Messi Burger includes ten ingredients as an elevated take on the venue’s Steak Burger. Anyone who orders this hamburger will taste a double stack of seasoned and seared ground beef patties.
Furthermore, it will include toppings of provolone cheese, sliced chorizo, caramelized red onion, and Hard Rock’s signature, spicy, smoky sauce served on a toasted brioche bun with shredded romaine lettuce and vine-ripened tomato.
