‘It Will Not Be PSG’ – Javier Tebas Comments on the Future of Kylian Mbappé

The future of Kylian Mbappé remains one that’s being discussed; the 23-year-old has yet to announce where he’ll play next season with his contract expiring in June.

It seems as though the France international is heading to Real Madrid, but nothing is yet signed. Paris Saint-Germain crashing out of the UEFA Champions League to Los Blancos didn’t help matters.

Nonetheless, La Liga president Javier Tebas is ready to print out Mbappé posters and promotions, stating that the PSG star is Spain-bound at Plaza de Callao in Madrid with representatives ahead of El Clasico

“What is certain is that Mbappé will not continue at PSG; it is not normal that he has not announced where he will be next season without having terminated his contract. It will not be at PSG; that’s what I think,” Tebas said, whose words were relayed by AS

Tebas is in his right to believe that Mbappé is heading to La Liga as he needs star players to market the league after the exits of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi over the past couple of years.

Yes, there are talented players like Karim Benzema, but the Spanish league needs that poster boy to be the marquee attraction for the next half-decade, which Mbappé would bring to La Liga.
