When Paris Saint-Germain brought in Sergio Ramos, they were hoping to bring in a veteran voice for their backline, which it lacked since the capital club decided to part ways with Thiago Silva in 2020.

However, what Les Parisiens envisioned this past summer hasn’t come true; in fact, it’s been an utter disaster. During a segment on El Sanhedrin de Carrusel Deportivo, Spanish journalist Antonio Romero states that Ramos regrets leaving Real Madrid last summer to join PSG.

“I am absolutely convinced,” Romero said. Colleague Julio Pulido also went on to say that he thinks “some of the injuries may come from the stress after his departure.”

Ramos has only played in five fixtures for the French giants this season. Furthermore, reports suggest the two parties could part ways this coming summer. The 35-year-old signed a two-year contract, but Ramos could be a casualty as Les Parisiens decides to clean house.

Letting go of Silva stings, especially after seeing him win the Champions League, but replacing him with a player that could only give them five games and miss the two most important games of the season stings even more.
