Paris Saint-Germain came away with a 1-0 victory earlier this month against Real Madrid in the first leg of their Round of 16 matchup. The stage will now shift to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where the capital club hopes to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand was at the Ooredoo Training Centre, taking in a PSG training session. He had a quick conversation with Canal Supporters discussing who he expects to come away with the second leg result.
“I think they are favorites! I watched the team, and the squad is crazy! With the talent and depth they have, it’s really good! I think they are the favorites against Real Madrid,” Ferdinand said.
“It’s going to be a tough game. They showed the last match, if they play like that with intensity, pressing, quickly recovering the ball, for the three superstars in attack and to have an opportunity to score… Then they will win!”
