Paris Saint-Germain will be welcoming Real Madrid for the first of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie in less than two weeks. Both clubs are coming of crashing out of their respective domestic cup tournament this past week.
Furthermore, the Ligue 1 side hopes that Neymar Jr. and Sergio Ramos are fit to at least factor in this matchup, whether in both legs or one. During his press conference with the media, manager Mauricio Pochettino provided an update on the two players.
“The evolution continues in a favorable way. We will see next week, which will be decisive to follow [Neymar’s] development, the percentage of chance that he will join the team as soon as possible and before a match as important as the Champions League,” Pochettino said.
“For Sergio, too, we have to follow the evolution of his problem, and the coming week will allow us to know precisely whether he can be part of the group or not.”
