After dealing with an ankle injury, Neymar Jr. returned to the Paris Saint-Germain squad in the first leg against Real Madrid. The 30-year-old assisted the Kylian Mbappé goal that helped the Ligue 1 side come up with a 1-0 first-leg victory.

During his press conference with the media, manager Mauricio Pochettino provided an update on how Neymar feels following his 17 minutes of action against the Spanish club this past week.

“Ney, we can see that he has very good energy, very good motivation. He was very conscientious in his rehabilitation, which allowed him to be back. Now he will be able to come and help the team,” Pochettino said.

Neymar will reportedly make his first start for PSG since his injury, Saturday night against FC Nantes.
