Video: Carlo Ancelotti Talks Kylian Mbappé’s First Leg Performance, Possibility of Signing Him

Kylian Mbappé has been in the spotlight over the last few days. The 23-year-old scored the game-winning goal in the first leg against Real Madrid late in the second half. The France international has put the capital club in an excellent position to advance.

After seeing what Mbappé did to their squad, it seems now more than ever; Real Madrid wants to land the PSG star forward this coming summer when his contract expires.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke to the media at a press conference about Mbappé’s performance and the possibility of signing the Frenchman.

“He has done us a lot of damage, and we have three weeks to prepare for a game against him,” Ancelotti said. “This is a very competitive squad, but we are thinking about things for the future. Every year we try to make it better.”

“At this moment, they are justified because against PSG; we did it wrong. I am the first critic. The approach was bad, it did not work out, and I am responsible.”
