After a notable wait, Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar could soon make his return to in-game action.
As noted by RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi, Neymar featured in PSG’s scheduled training session on Sunday, as the Brazilian international did not suffer any setbacks regarding his notable ankle injury.
PSG will have one final training session on Monday ahead of the first leg of its UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid. If the forward goes on to complete the training session without any setbacks, he would then be available to feature in the clash with the La Liga side.
From there, it would be up to PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino on just how to handle Neymar’s possible return from injury.
Neymar has not featured in a single match since suffering the notable ankle injury in PSG’s Ligue 1 fixture against AS Saint-Etienne in the first half of the season.
PSG aims for a keen performance to open up its tie against Real Madrid.
