Paris Saint-Germain and Mauricio Pochettino appear to be marching towards divorce. A recent report suggested that the Argentine is fed up at the capital club, and over the past few months, he’s been linked to the Manchester United job.
With the French giants crashing out of the Coupe de France, the rumors connected Pochettino to The Red Devils are again resurfacing. The Daily Mirror reports Manchester United is still determined to welcome the 49-year-old as their manager.
Despite his mixed results in the French capital, Pochettino is held in high regard for the clubs in the Premier League due to the job he’s done at Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
“United will be aware of this context and believe that their long-term admiration of Pochettino will finally pay off,” the English media outlet wrote.
Ralf Rangnick is keeping the seat warm for a long-term replacement, and it seems as though Pochettino might be the guy for them at the end of the season. As for PSG could be looking to land former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane to replace the potentially outgoing Argentine.
