The 33-year-old’s contract expires in June, and while the forward would like to remain for another season with PSG before returning to his home county to retire, the capital club might not be looking to hold onto him.
Since arriving in 2015 at PSG, Di Maria has made 283 appearances thus far in his career with the French giants. The Argentine forward has scored 91 goals and registered 115 assists.
Furthermore, during his seven years in Paris, Di Maria has become the club’s all-time assists leader, surpassing Safet Sušić’s record of 103.
