Video: Mauricio Pochettino Provides an Injury Update on Neymar Ahead of Real Madrid Clash

Paris Saint-Germain has been without Neymar Jr. since he was injured late November following his ankle injury against AS Saint-Étienne.

The 30-year-old has been rehabbing, and with the UEFA Champions League first-leg tie against Real Madrid occurring next week, all eyes are on him to see if he can play versus Los Blancos

Manager Mauricio Pochettino provided an injury update at his press conference on Neymar as the Brazil international aims to be fit for the match on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.

“He has the maturity to be able to handle this type of situation and use these situations to bring out the best in himself. We will see in the next few days to find out if he can be there on Tuesday,” Pochettino said.

“All great players want to play in big games. Neymar is an experienced player who also suffered several serious injuries before important matches. He has the maturity to successfully manage this in the best possible way and always seeks to be in the best possible shape. When he plays, it will help him perform.”
