Longtime Brazilian forward Ronaldo sees that Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi is still an ‘extraordinary’ player in world football today.
In speaking on longtime Inter Milan forward Christian Vieri’s “Bobo TV” Twitch show, Ronaldo went in-depth on just what still makes Messi one of the top talents in world football today.
“[Messi] is extraordinary, he has strength, speed and physical strength,” Ronaldo said. “Messi is hungry for goals, then he is good off the pitch like all [players] of this generation, unlike us.”
Even as Messi is near the backend of his prime days, he has still managed to orchestrate keen performances in all competitions over his ongoing run with PSG. For one, he finished UEFA Champions League group stage play with five goals scored, which led all PSG players.
Messi has been a regular for PSG as of late, which includes the start against OGC Nice in the Coupe de France round of 16. PSG is currently set to meet reigning Ligue 1 champions Lille OSC up next in league play, which is a fixture that the Argentine forward could go on to earn a start in.
