If there is one former player who is well familiar with just how Lionel Messi has developed his game from his early playing days up to now, it sure is Sergio Aguero.
For the former Argentina national team striker, he has remained much impressed with the legacy of Messi due to one notable reason, which he touched on to TyC Sports.
“As long as he keeps playing, because I see him, you can ask anyone who has seen him in person, training and playing, it’s crazy how easy it is for him to do things that are a little more difficult for us,” Aguero said. “In the 15 years I played in Europe, I never saw anything like him, but not even close.”
Many current and former players in world football sure can attest to Aguero’s notion that Messi has continued to simply make it look easy when he is on the ball. Whether as a goal-scorer or a playmaker, Messi sure has wowed his opponents a multitude of times over the course of his career at the club and international levels.
The Argentine forward is just coming off of a one-assist performance in PSG’s recent Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes. He may go on to feature in PSG’s upcoming home league encounter against AS Saint-Etienne.
