This week, various reports came out regarding Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The capital club has to improve their midfield, and they’re hoping that a return to France can see the 25-year-old regain his past form.
As the rumors continue to circulate, manager Mauricio Pochettino was asked about the club’s interest in Ndombele, a player he brought to north London in 2019, during his press conference. The Argentine tactician didn’t say much regarding the rumor of his former player.
“I don’t like talking about rumors and players who are not in our club. We have a group with great qualities. The club made a great effort to have the best possible group, with balance,” Pochettino said.
“The transfer window is there; it also depends on the players, including those who may want to leave. The club is open, to listen but also to observe the possibilities. I’m happy with the group we have.”
