Paris Saint-Germain is one of the possible landing spots for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, whose contract expires in June. The capital club was linked to the 28-year-old all summer, but a move back to his hometown didn’t occur.
However, with Pogba yet to sign a contract extension with Manchester United, the French giants are circling back to bring the France international home. During a segment on L’ÉQUIPE de Greg, French football journalist Bruno Salomon stated that Pogba and PSG is a “perfect” marriage.
“PSG are in the process of rebuilding their midfield, every week we see a line-up, every week we tell ourselves it’s not the right formula. On paper, Pogba at PSG is the “perfect” marriage; I want it!” Salomon said.
“It will be the return of one of the cherished children of French football, a little dark, a little berserk, but he is completely in the DNA of Paris Saint-Germain. That’s what’s good! They are made to be together; it would be a marriage that would be a bit “screwy,” but that’s why I like it on paper.”
