The January transfer window will close in a couple of days, and Paris Saint-Germain remains in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. Les Parisien wants to land the 25-year-old to add a new dimension to the group, and they’re ready to commit financially.

According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano (via Paris Fans), PSG is willing to cover the player’s salary. As a result, the discussion is now shifting over to the amount regarding the option to buy clause.

With the transfer window closing Monday, it seems as though talks are progressing in the right direction. However, the capital club still needs to offload one or two players to balance out the wage books and make room for Ndombele.

A recent report suggests that manager Mauricio Pochettino hopes to count on Ndombele in his squad before the end of the winter transfer window. Furthermore, the Argentine tactician believes the France international would bring something different than the players already present in his squad.
