Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe returned to training on Saturday ahead of the team’s upcoming Ligue 1 home encounter with Reims, as noted by L’Equipe.
Over the past week, Mbappe missed multiple scheduled collective training sessions due to a groin injury. PSG’s coaching staff opted for the conservative approach by keeping him out of training for several days in order to provide him with more time to heal from his nagging injury.
On Saturday, Mbappe joined up with his PSG teammates for training. For the moment, it is not known whether the French forward will go on to earn a start for this match.
At the least, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino did confirm during his pre-match press conference on Saturday that the attacker is set to be in the squad list for the fixture.
Mbappe has so far recorded 18 goal contributions with 10 goals and eight assists in 19 league matches this season.
