While Paris Saint-Germain fans eagerly await the tie against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, fans were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the life of Neymar Jr. thanks to a new Netflix documentary.
On the latest episode of PSG Talking, Tyrone Taylor hosts, and he’s joined by fellow PSG Talk contributor, Jon Olangi, to break down the latest news out of Paris both on and off the pitch.
The show begins with a conversation about the documentary, titled, Neymar: The Perfect Chaos. Ty and Jon share their thoughts on Neymar’s relationship with his father, the dynamic in the locker room, jealousy, and the impact Kobe Bryant’s death had on the Brazilian superstar.
Up next, the conversation turns to the 4-0 win over Stade de Reims. For the first time in a long time, PSG played attacking football and even Marco Verratti scored two goals! Sergio Ramos got his first goal in a PSG shirt and Messi returned from COVID-19 for a few minutes. Can fans expect more of the same and can Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappé coexist on the pitch together?
Later in the episode, Ty and Jon break down the latest transfer rumors, including whether they think Tanguy Ndombele will arrive from Tottenham Hotspur and why PSG might be interested in FC Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé.
Ty and Jon wrap up the show with an update on the Africa Cup of Nations and share a hilarious clip of Jamie Carragher admitting that Lionel Messi called him a donkey via an Instagram direct message.
