Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar continues to make promising progress from his notable ankle injury.
On Wednesday, PSG noted that the Brazilian forward has now started to run again. More so, the PSG star talent has also jump-started the reconditioning phase of his injury rehab process on the pitch.
Neymar has been sidelined since PSG’s Ligue 1 fixture against AS Saint-Etienne in the first half of the season, as he suffered a notable ankle injury over the late stages of the match.
Overall, the Brazilian forward has made continual progress from his injury over the past months. More so, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino did note that he is “hopeful” that the Brazilian international will be available for the club’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Real Madrid, as the opening leg of the clash will come next month.
Neymar has so far scored three goals in 14 matches in all competitions in the ongoing campaign.
