Paris Saint-Germain prospect El Chadaille Bitshiabu has had plenty of teammates help him along the way so far this season, including Marquinhos.
For one, during his interview with France Bleu Paris, Bitshiabu lauded Marquinhos for just how he has guided him during training.
“Marquinhos, to start with, is someone who brings me a lot on the field, already,” Bitshiabu said.
“When I don’t understand an exercise or I don’t know where to position myself, he will always be there to tell me how to do it. He is someone who will always encourage you, in fact. He’s never going to let you do anything. He will always guide you, tell you what to do, where to go. And that’s something I really like.”
Marquinhos sure has lived up to the expectations that were placed on him when he was given the captain’s armband by now-former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel last season, which came following Thiago Silva’s free transfer move to Chelsea.
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has so far provided playing minutes to multiple prospects so far this season, including Bitshiabu. The defender featured in PSG’s Coupe de France knockout stage encounters against both Feignies and Vannes earlier in the month.
It will be noteworthy to see whether the Argentine manager may opt to feature Bitshiabu in the upcoming Coupe de France round of 16 clash with OGC Nice.
