PSG Mercato: Premier League Clubs Eye Layvin Kurzawa in the Transfer Window’s Final Hours

There are only a few hours left until the January transfer window closes, and Paris Saint-Germain hopes they can find a suitor for left-back Layvin Kurzawa. Over the last couple of weeks, the 29-year-old has been linked to a departure but hasn’t departed the capital club.

According to Foot Mercato, the Premier League remains the likely destination for Kurzawa, who has still not played a single minute this season. West Ham United and Newcastle United are reportedly interested in the defender.

Kurzawa does want to play, and perhaps finally heading to the Premier League could be enough for him to try and work out a possible deal to get some playing time this season.

If he and PSG fail to execute any move in these next few hours, then it’s likely he goes an entire season without appearing on the pitch. Kurzawa is fourth on the left-back depth chart, with Nuno Mendes, Juan Bernat, and Abdou Diallo all seeing time ahead of him at the position.
