Paris Saint-Germain will be adding to their forward group for next season. Les Parisiens have reportedly reached a pre-agreement with FC Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé, whose contract expires in June.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG sporting director Leonardo appreciates the 24-year-old’s file since he played for Stade Rennais has taken matters into his own hands to carry out the discussions.
The French media outlet adds that barring any major obstacle that prevents this deal from getting completed, Dembélé’s future will be in Paris. Furthermore, the Ligue 1 side would like to bring the player this January window and not wait until the summer.
Barcelona is hoping to recoup €20-million, but if the French giants aren’t unable to work out a deal in the final hours, then they’ll have to wait until June.
With the presence of Neymar (29), Lionel Messi (34), or Angel Di Maria (33), PSG wants to add some younger legs to their attack, and it appears as though Dembélé could be on his way to join Kylian Mbappé, possibly if he extends his contract.
