Paris Saint-Germain wants to downsize their squad as it looks to offload players who have no future with the capital club. The Ligue 1 side sent out Rafinha on a loan deal to Real Sociedad this week as it begins shedding its wage bill.
Another player that could be on their way out is Colin Dagba, who’s under contract until 2024. French football journalist Arnaud Hermant stated on L’Equipe du Soir (via Paris Fans) that Dagba is on the radar of AS Saint-Étienne.
The report doesn’t detail what type of deal it will be; however, considering that Saint-Étienne is in a relegation battle, it’s likely a loan deal to help them crawl out of the last spot as they’re six points out from safety.
Nonetheless, Dagba moving out of the French capital doesn’t come as a surprise considering the right-back position belongs to Achraf Hakimi for the foreseeable future. As a result, the defender could be on the way out.
