Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes has revealed that he is much enjoying “every moment” of Lionel Messi’s run so far with the Ligue 1 side.

In speaking to PSG TV, Paredes opened up on just what it has been like to play alongside the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner at the club.

“I enjoy every moment we spend together, whether it’s with the national team or seeing him here in Paris,” Paredes said. “Every day in training, in the dressing room, enjoying ourselves a lot both on and off the field.

“For me, it’s incredible. I enjoy every moment to the fullest.”

Paredes has made plenty of history alongside Messi with the Argentina national team, which includes the recent triumph at the 2021 Copa America tournament. Messi led the way for La Albiceleste with nine total goal contributions, while Paredes earned several pivotal starts in the side’s run to the final.

Now, both Messi and Paredes will have a chance to etch their names in PSG history if they can help to lead the side to its first UEFA Champions League win. The French powerhouse will face off with Real Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 later this season.

In the big picture, every other PSG talent sure can attest to Paredes’ comments on enjoying Messi’s early run at the club.
