If there is one player in world football today who can provide a firm assessment of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar’s prowess as a forward, it sure is club teammate Lionel Messi. From their run together at Barcelona to their reunion at PSG this season, the two star forwards have made plenty of history together on the pitch.
In the Netflix docuseries “Neymar: The Perfect Chaos,” Messi took some time to laud Neymar’s top-class skill set, where he kept it simple on just what makes the Brazilian forward one of the more dynamic on-ball talents in world football today.
“He is unstoppable, he is fast, intelligent, the pull he has, the speed with the ball,” Messi said
Neymar sure has continued to show off his superb on-ball talent at the club and international levels, whether as a goal-scorer or a playmaker. For one, he shined in Brazil’s run to the 2021 Copa America Final, as the forward notched five total goal contributions in the tournament.
The two PSG stars sure will look to make more history together later this season with the French powerhouse.
