French Press Provides Update on PSG’s Pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele

Paris Saint-Germain has been in talks over the past two weeks with Tottenham Hotspur over midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. However, the capital club needs to offload players before securing a deal for the 25-year-old.

According to France Bleu Paris Bruno Salomon, the discussions between Tottenham and PSG have “lost in intensity” for Ndombele.

Salomon states that the reason for this cool-down is because the midfielder would seem a little too financially greedy. Moreover, the capital club was interested in a loan with a player exchange, but this did not work.

RMC Sport’s Loïc Tanzi also collaborates the information stating that “Paris is procrastinating” in the negotiations.

The French media outlet explains that holding this position may be a possibility. Paris has never hidden that it would be challenging to bring the France international without a departure.

With only a few hours left until the January transfer window closes, PSG will have to seel to make room for Ndombele. If not, they’ll have to proceed the season with the squad they have now.
