The January transfer window is a couple of weeks away, which means that Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid reports will begin surfacing. The 22-year-old can begin talks with any club over a pre-contract that will kick in next season.
RMC Sport relayed the comments made by Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who remains hopeful that the capital club can reach an extension with Mbappé to prolong his tenure with Les Parisiens.
“We Hope,” Al-Khelaifi said.”You know what I think; Kylian is a great player, a great man. Kylian knows what he wants to do, too.”
Real Madrid did their best to land the France international this summer, but the Ligue 1 side decided to hold onto the forward despite his contract expiring in June. Los Blancos reportedly offered €180-million for their superstar, but PSG rejected it.
It will be interesting to see if the French giants can reach an extension over the next couple of weeks. If not, the reports connecting Mbappé to Real Madrid will begin running wild for January as the La Liga side finally hopes to land the striker.
