Lionel Messi was awarded the prestigious 2021 Ballon d’Or by France Football on Monday. This is the seventh such win of Messi’s career.
Ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 home fixture against OGC Nice, the club honored the Argentine forward, who showed off his Ballon d’Or award in front of the Parc des Princes crowd.

The Argentine forward has so far scored 41 goals in all competitions over the calendar year. He sure will look to notch a goal in PSG’s key fixture against Nice.
