In his new book “Adrenaline: My Untold Stories,” former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimović stated that he offered his services to take over the sporting director role to club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
The 40-year-old stated that he could bring order and discipline to the squad that he feels the club lacks. Ahead of their match, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media at his press conference, where he provided a comment on the Swedish striker’s remarks regarding the team.
“I respect everyone’s advice. You know me now; I am someone who respects the opinions, the ideas, the capacity of each one to have his vision of things and to project himself in the future.” Pochettino said.
“I have no comments to make. I’m just talking about what’s going on here, what we’re doing, the reality. For me, I have total respect (for opinions) no matter who it is, but I don’t like to talk about what other people think.”
