Ahead of the matchup, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media at his press conference, where he discussed playing a match without his two star players.
“Marco Verratti is also suspended… In any case, we never speak of ‘replacing,’ but always to find the right balance for the team, one that will allow us to free a good performance and get closer to victory,” Pochettino said.
