Paris Saint-Germain is coming off a third consecutive disappointing result after their 1-1 draw to RC Lens.

The capital club needed a late goal which saw Kylian Mbappé put a cross into the box for Georginio Wijnaldum to score and leave the Estadio Bollaert-Delelis with at least one point.

After the match, PSG midfielder Marco Verratti spoke to Canal Plus, where he discussed his thoughts on the game, considering it’s another disappointing result for the French giants.

“Yes, Lens is a team that plays in a very special way, and I like it a lot because it’s a team that has a lot of courage and that feels good. Matches like that feel good because it was a bit English, with a lot of chances on both sides,” Verratti said.

“It was a combative match until the end, very intense, we congratulated Lens team but also our character. Because until the last minute, we manage to take this draw. Of course, we wanted to win, but today it was tough. I think both teams had a very intense game, with a lot of chances, and I think the crowd liked it. We a little less from the field because we like to control the game, but it was difficult against them. “
