Paris Saint-Germain played OGC Nice to a 0-0 draw, but it wasn’t for the lack of chances. The capital club had their share but couldn’t convert.
During the 90 minutes, PSG had 22 total shots, with five being on target. Les Parisiens had two big chances missed, one by their forward Kylian Mbappé, who had his share of opportunities to score.
After the match, manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media at his press conference, commenting on the missed scoring chances.
“It happens. Sometimes you shoot, and it goes in; others don’t. Tonight was not our night,” Pochettino said.
“It happens in football and in a season, usually once or twice, to create chances but not succeed in scoring because of the goalkeeper or by shooting aside. You have to accept that this kind of thing happens in a season.”
