Sky Sports recently reported that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum was open to a loan move back to the Premier League a couple of days ago. The English media outlet cited Arsenal as a club possibly expressing interest in the initial report.
Now it seems more clubs in the Premier League would be open to welcoming back Wijnaldum to England. 90min reports that Newcastle United, Everton, Tottenham, West Ham United, Leicester City, and Aston Villa are interested in the 31-year-old.
Wijnaldum has failed to solidify a starting role at PSG and has struggled to adapt to Ligue 1. It’s s why the Netherlands international is open to returning to a league he’s familiar with after spending time with Newcastle United and Liverpool FC.
The report details that Wijnaldum’s representatives are in talks with Les Parisiens about a possible departure in January. However, the final decision will rest with the capital club on whether it wants to part ways with the midfielder less than a year into his deal.
