Paris Saint-Germain will finish the calendar year with a Ligue 1 away fixture against Lorient.

PSG heads into this contest with multiple notable absences. Among them, both Kylian Mbappe and Marco Verratti will not play in this match due to their respective yellow card suspensions.

At the least, several other notable PSG talents will be available for this league encounter, and as noted by TyC Sports, manager Mauricio Pochettino could still roll out a formidable starting 11 for it.

Donnarumma; Hakimi, Ramos, Marquinhos, Diallo; Gueye, Wijnaldum, Paredes; Messi, Icardi, Di Maria

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos made his return to action in PSG’s recent Coupe de France knockout stage win over Feignies. After featuring in only the first half of the match, he could be in line to play in the entirety of the team’s upcoming matchup against Lorient.

As Mbappe will not take part in this match, Pochettino could opt to start Mauro Icardi upfront as the team’s main striker. Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria could each then look to play the role of a playmaker for Icardi.

PSG sure can use a convincing performance against Lorient to finish the year on a promising note.
