Report: Layvin Kurzawa Has No Intention of Taking a Significant Paycut Amid Interest From Serie A Clubs

The January transfer window opens this week, and Paris Saint-Germain has begun the process of offloading players they know have no future with the club. This week, the Ligue 1 side parted ways with Rafinha, who left on a loan deal to Real Sociedad.

Another player that PSG hopes will depart next month is Layvin Kurzawa. Foot Mercato reports that there has not yet been a concrete offer for the left-back, but Lazio is in pole position to land the 28-year-old should they pursue with their interest.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan has just taken information on Kurzawa, and Napoli has cooled its interest in the PSG defender. There is no denying that the France international would like more playing time as he hasn’t seen the pitch much with the French giants this season.

However, the French media outlet adds that Kurzawa does not want to suffer too heavy a pay cut. As a result, it seems as though Les Parisiens might also have to cover some cost if they send him out on a loan deal.
