The injury woes have continued for Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos, as he has been ruled out from the upcoming Ligue 1 home fixture against AS Monaco, as noted by the club.
The veteran Spanish defender is still dealing with muscle fatigue, which saw him miss PSG’s recent UEFA Champions League home group stage match against Club Brugge. Ramos will continue his individual recovery work as he aims to possibly rejoin the squad ahead of the Coupe de France knockout stage matchup against Feignies.
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino noted during his press conference ahead of the Monaco clash that he aspires to have Ramos back before the end of the calendar year.
Overall, Ramos has only featured in a mere one fixture this season, which came during the away league encounter with AS Saint-Etienne.
For now, PSG will look to build on momentum from its 4-1 win over Club Brugge with a possible home victory over Monaco.
