Although Pablo Sarabia is currently spending the season with Sporting CP on a loan move, his next destination could possibly be a return to La Liga.

As noted by the Portuguese-based outlet O Jogo (via Le10Sport), Real Madrid is showing an early interest in Sarabia.

The Paris Saint-Germain loanee agreed to a one-season loan move to Sporting CP over the recent summer transfer window. He was in the rumor mill over a possible departure from PSG via a permanent transfer move, but in the end, the club sent him off to the Portuguese side instead. This came following his standout performances for the Spanish national team over the Euro 2020 tournament.

Sarabia has since made the most out of his loan run with Sporting CP, as he has scored five goals in all competitions and helped the side clinch a spot in this season’s UEFA Champions League knockout stage.

For now, Real Madrid has simply shown an early reported interest in Sarabia, who has years of experience in playing in La Liga. It remains to be seen whether the side will opt to push to sign him over next year’s summer transfer window.
