Marquinhos is the rock at the center-back position, but behind him, there’s Sergio Ramos, who, when on the pitch, displays the qualities that he had at Real Madrid.

Then after them is Prensenl Kimpembe, and the former youth product has national team level talent for France but can make questionable decisions on the pitch.

Mino Raiola has thrown a cloud over Matthijs de Ligt’s future at Juventus. The Dutch defender’s agent hypothesized a departure during the summer transfer window and named the possible destinations during his appearance on the Nos channel.

“We can all think of the clubs that Matthijs could go to,” says Raiola. “Then you don’t talk about Fortuna Düsseldorf with all due respect. In the summer we have to see if there are clubs on the market. That can be the Premier League, but also FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Paris Saint-Germain.”

With Ramos in his mid-to-late 30’s and Kimpembe offering more questions than answers, PSG might be in the market for a center-back. In 2019 there were reports that the capital club was interested in de Ligt. However, the former Ajax defender opted to join Juventus.

Having Raiola as his agent and listing the capital club as a possible destination doesn’t come as a surprise considering the Italian’s close relationship with PSG’s sporting director Leonardo.
