The FIFA International window is this week, and Brazil will have two World Cup qualifying fixtures against Colombia and Argentina.
Ahead of their matches, Olympique Lyonnais’ Lucas Paqueta spoke to the media at his press conference. He mentioned how much Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. has meant to him, considering the advice he provided him during a rough patch in his career.
“Neymar is an idol for me; it is always special to play alongside him. When I went through difficult moments in the national team, he spoke to me and told me that you had to be patient, that I was a great player who could contribute a lot to the team,” Paqueta said.
Paqueta left Brazil for AC Milan, where it didn’t work out. The 24-year-old would then sign with Lyon, and it appears that the midfielder has found a home with the French club.
