PSG Announces Multi-Year Partnership With On-Demand Grocery Delivery Company

The arrival of Lionel Messi sent a signal to potential companies that Paris Saint-Germain is open to doing business if they take advantage of the presence of the 34-year-old during his two (possibly three) years in the French capital.

The latest company to jump on board with Les Parisiens is a ‘on-demand’ grocery delivery service called Gorillas.

PSG announced a multi-year partnership with a creative video with a customer receiving their order from Gorillas along with a kit delivered by midfielder Marco Verratti, announcing the new partnership.

Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer at PSG is more than ecstatic regarding this deal as the Ligue 1 side will kick it off this new deal during the capital club’s match against FC Nantes.

“We are very happy to welcome Gorillas to the Paris Saint-Germain family,” Armstrong said.

“Our two brands have both developed a strong lifestyle imprint with the ambition to bring positive change in the lives of their teams and communities. We look forward to meeting the Gorilla rider community and innovating together at high speed.”

Meanwhile, Gorillas Ugur Samut, Chairman of the Board at Gorillas, is also excited about partnering with PSG as it allows the company to further itself across Europe.

“It is a real honor to partner with Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most successful football teams in Europe, for our first international sports partnership,” Samut said.

“We share many values with the Club, such as daring, authenticity and team spirit. For a brand like Gorillas, with a DNA at the intersection of sport and lifestyle, partnering with a club as popular as Paris Saint-Germain is perfectly natural.”

Gorillas likely won’t be the only company seeking a multi-partnership with PSG as there should be plenty more over these next couple of years.
