The goalkeeping situation at Paris Saint-Germain is complicated, considering that the capital club is splitting the starts between Keylor Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
During an interview with Tuttomercatoweb (via Marca), Donnarumma’s agent, Mino Raiola, provided his thoughts on the matter, stating that it’s a difficult position the 22-year-old finds himself in with Les Parisiens.
Nonetheless, the football agent believes that his client will eventually see it through and hold the number spot for years to come with PSG.
“I don’t know if it’s a problem, but I’m sure about how this PSG goalkeeper situation will end up. And it’s going to end up well for Donnarumma. It will take time and patience, it will be resolved,” Raiola said.
The reason for the question is due it is beginning to take its toll on Donnarumma as the PSG goalkeeper recently admitted in an interview with TNT Sports (via Marca).
PSG can’t go another season with two goalkeepers used to being the starters needing to split time. So whether it’s during the January window or next summer, they’ll have to move on from Navas and allow for Donnarumma to be the undisputed starter at the goalkeeper position.
