The 22-year-old played a vital role for France, who fell behind 1-0 to the Spanish side. Nonetheless, Mbappé had a hand in both of France’s goals providing the assists in the strike by Karim Benzema then scoring the game-winning goal, although there was some controversy about whether he was offside.
