Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Juan Pablo Sorin spent one season in the French capital, but despite his lone season, the Argentine defender holds the Ligue 1 side in high regard.
Sorin spoke to beIN Sports regarding several topics, one being about his playing career. The former Argentina international answered a question on which player who played for Les Parisiens reminds him of himself, stating that Marquinhos and former midfielder Blaise Matuidi are two players he sees himself in.
“Which player looks reminds me of myself? I think Marquinhos is identified with the jersey and membership of PSG. A few years before, there was a little Matuidi for the will to win,” Sorin said.
“Now, I think the spirit of solidarity will come from the collective. There is not just one player; they are all important. The Paris collective is also very important for the stars to shine.”
